When you think of bathroom essentials you usually think of toilet paper holders or squeegees for the shower glass. But your bathroom doesn’t need to be a sterile place for efficiency only–getting ready with girlfriends while sharing the vanity is amongst my favorite memories. From showers to overall convenience, there are some items you never knew you needed until you have them. Each of the products below will change your bathroom routine for the better. Now is the time to welcome a more upbeat, productive and relaxed day!

Bathroom Essentials You Didn't Know You Needed

One of the annoying realities of modern life is the fact that smart phone speakers aren’t very powerful. Almost certainly you will have a hard time hearing them from a safe distance while you are showering, meaning you can’t skip that song or fast forward over ads in your favorite podcast. So what can you do? Check out the iShower2. You just pop in some AA batteries in the waterproof casing, hang it in your shower, easily connect via Bluetooth and commence rocking out and/or singing in the shower!

Speaking of showers, have you ever had an amazing idea in the shower only to forget it after you’ve dried off and gotten to your notebook? Guest Bath: Before and After

Happy New Year! There will be posts all over blogland about New Year’s resolutions and setting goals and all of that productive stuff, but I didn’t feel like talking about that today, so how about a fun Before and After?   We can get organized and make resolutions later.  Actually I’m not much of a resolutions girl. Now that Christmas is over,  I can finally get around to showing all my rooms since we jumped right into the Holidays just as I was getting finished up.  My roommate, Rhonda, uses this bathroom and I got it looking good for her.  She loves it and I’m really proud of how it came out, especially since I didn’t gut it, but worked with what I had.  I will probably give it a new vanity one day, but for now, I’m totally happy with it.
