Review: Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel

Image
I know that there’s no sane person in the world who’ll turn down a gift, but I’m always particularly happy whenever I receive a package from Crabtree & Evelyn. In fact, I’m always secretly hoping for a heavy package – why? Because then it means that there’s a shower gel inside . I’m quite a fan of their shower gels, so much that the last time I received the Crabtree & Evelyn Conditioning Hand Wash , I actually asked the PR girl if I could use it as a body shower gel instead. I vaguely remember receiving a stunned silence, which was probably my cue to switch to a less socially-awkward topic, such as the weather. heh. Anyhoos, here’s my two cents’ worth about their new Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel – and no, you don’t get no photos of my hawt hawt bodeh in the shower muahahaha. Crabtree & Evelyn Verbena and Lavender Bath and Shower Gel 250ml ($30) The Verbena & Lavender de Provence Collection comprises the following and is available at all Crabtree & ...

philosophy Raspberry Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Shampoo, Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath Review, Photos

Reviews Feb 26, 2013 February 26, 2013 philosophy Raspberry Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Shampoo , Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath" src="http://www.temptalia.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/philosophy_raspberrydreamsicle001.jpg" /> philosophy Raspberry Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Shampoo , Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath philosophy Raspberry Passion Fruit Dreamsicle Shampoo , Shower Gel, & Bubble Bath ($27.00 for 32 oz.) is described as a “sheer delight of ripe berries, tropical passion fruit , and sweet creaminess.” It smells like raspberries and cream with added sweetness that I felt really came from the “passion fruit” portion–it wasn’t sugary sweet, but a rounded sweetness that was mellow but noticeable.  It’s not fresh raspberries; it’s definitely sweeter than that, but as a general fan of all things raspberry , I liked it quite a bit. The main reason I bought this (besides being a fiend for any new scent by philosophy) was because it came with a pump, and I really w...

Philosophy Senorita Margarita Bath and Shower Gel Review, Photo

Image
I have used Dove bath soap bars my entire life and could never work up the courage to shell out the money for these colorful babies but the name of this delectable bath and shower gel makes me giggle and crave a drink.. Who's with me?! The retail price is $16 but I purchased it with my Ulta 20% discount coupon that I received in the mail so it was well worth it! I usually give these shower gels as gifts because I know most girls love bath luxuries but I couldn't justify buying them for myself. But the more I try Philosophy shower gels , the more I become addicted to them! I've tried my friends' Be Somebody in Water Lily [floral] and Birthday Cake [sweet], which are both lovely, but I like the invigorating, sassy citrus scent of Senorita Margarita best. The formula, when used as a shower gel, lathers well and you will see plenty of foam if you use a loofa as I do. My dry skin feels clean and comfortable, not stripped, after using any Philosophy shower gel . The sc...

The Pink Cow Strawberry Sundae Bath and Shower Gel : Gotta love the name!

Image
With a name like The Pink Cow , I did not hesitate one bit to pick up this shower gel. I mean, come on! How could I pass up on a name like that? 😀 pink cow strawberry sundae bath and shower gel" width="530" height="450" /> I couldn’t find much information about The Pink Cow. It appears to be a little obscure English brand with a very small selection of bath and body products sold in Boots pharmacies. Let me just show you why I had to pick this up, besides the name:- Do you not love that? I do. That sort of tongue in cheek humour appeals to the very English part of me 😀 Anyway, I’m not a fan of anything that smells of Strawberry, but when I spotted this at Boots, there was just Strawberry Sundae – A Very Wild Bath and Shower Gel or Coconut Creme – A Very Quiet Bath and Shower Gel. Naturally, I went for Strawberry Sundae . Wild? Yes Please! Actually no, I’m not wild but I don’t like coconut scented anything either so it was pretty much Strawberry Sundae...

The Body Shop Fuzzy Peach and Shea Bath and Shower Gel

TBS shower gel/Cream..My summer and winter version Guest Post by Swastika (Normal to Oily Skin, Medium Skin tone ) The Body Shop Fuzzy Peach Bath and SHower Gel When I had first come across TBS products, I had googled online to see which are their most used/must have ones and a lot of websites/blogs recommended that one should start with the shower gels. So now years later I would probably give the same recommendations to a TBS newbie. Being light on the pocket (compared to other TBS products not shower gels in general) they are a good place to start. This summer I am loving the  Fuzzy Peach Bath & Shower Gel  from TBS Fuzzy peach reminds me of a peach colored teddy bear…I had one growing up which i loved to cuddle..coming to the Fuzzy Peach Bath and shower gel, it is my summer favourite. It was originally launched in 1992 and has now come back in an improved version on popular demand. I can completely understand why it has been re-introduced. I simply love the smell.....

Review: Le Chatelard 1802 Lavande

Image
I am a huge night owl .  I stay up so late (mostly blogging and searching the interwebz for beauty products ) and I often need something to pull me back to reality.  Reality being the fact that I have a regular job I need to go to usually a few hours after I go to bed! *DOH*  The Lavande scent from Le Chatelard 1802 has been helping sooth my senses! Le Chatelard 1802 Lavande " width="640" style="border: 0px;" /> If you are not familiar with Le Chatelard 1802 , they are a company who hand-makes all of their products in France.  The products from this brand come in many different scents, but what is more French than Lavender?  I must say that the packaging is super user friendly and the labels are very shabby chic.   Eye pleasing addition to any bathtub or shower! Le Chatelard 1802 Lavande " width="640" style="border: 0px;" /> Le Gel Douche ( aka shower gel ) is very nice.  It builds up into a nice lather, cleanses well withou...

Bath & Body Works Winterberry Wonder Shower Gel Reviews

I love how the scent is very fruity/sweet and springy, even though it is associated with winter. The packaging is beautiful and how the cranberry/red color looks as a decoration. I get a strong apple cranberry scent . The only thing that disappointed me was that it just didn't smell good on my body. I love it so much, but it just didn't work with the chemistry of my body and it always made me smell really bad. Otherwise I think it is a very nice smell and the shower gel lathers amazingly .

Four Lush Favourites That Aren't Bath Bombs

Image
Lush continues to be one of my favourite places for body care and skincare, but I know it can be hard to navigate around their dreamy smelling bath bombs  and their  delicious bubble bars . Of course, I love nothing more than sinking into a bath full of luscious bubbles, but their body lotions, face masks and moisturisers all need a mention too, so today I am sharing my Lush tub favourites .  I don't want to blow my own trumpet, but I do like to think that my tweet back in March persuaded Lush to make their Sleepy Body Lotion  permanent. It's my top body moisturiser pick for the evening, when I want something luxurious feeling that will help me drift off too. It's purple, it's lavender scented and it reminds me of being tucked up in bed with a book in Autumn.  Lemony Flutter still remains one of my manicure must haves, nourishing my dehydrated cuticles and making sure that my brittle nails are kept in tip-top condition. Lush's hand and foot products tend to be r...

Argan Oil for the Win

Image
Morning loves!! I hope you’re having a great week so far … it’s been a LITTLE hectic for us with the move in FULL effect … I have to admit it’s feeling a little weird … but exciting at the same time! With all of the chaos happening around us I’ve found that having a shower or a hot bath at the end of the day is the one thing that really helps me to destress and calms me down … not to mention, I take FULL advantage of this brief alone time to  unwind with a glass of wine (you only live once, right?!) and considering I can’t help but to always be multi-tasking (lol!!) I also use this time to test out  Avalon Organics products ! If you missed my last review on their Intense Defense skin care line , make sure to check it out here! Anywho … back to today’s topic, today it’s all about Argan Oil!! The other day I gave Avalon Organics new Damage Control shampoo and conditioner a try! This duo is made with organic argan and avocado oils, calendula extract and quinoa protein!! Crazy right?! So...
