Win £50 to spend on natural Bramley Products for your bathroom

Read on to find out how to win £50 to spend on luxury Bramley Products for your bathroom.

Do you remember, a little while ago*, when I went to spend the night in a treehouse?

If you do, you may remember the amazing copper bath. The bath and the shower were actually two of my favourite bits about the trip, as the treehouse came with the whole range of Bramley Products. I’d never come across Bramley Products before, but I totally fell in love with them. They are made with all these wonderful smelling natural ingredients, so that when you’re washing your hair and you take a deep breath you get this wave of loveliness through your whole body.

Bramley Products do not contain harmful or unethical ingredients, they’re produced in small batches for freshness and quality and all their essential oils are fair trade, wild crafted and grown sustainably.

Since the treehouse, as you can imagine, I have coveted all things Bramley.

I must have looked at the website at least a dozen times, checking in at regular intervals, wondering if I was allowed to treat myself. I have this weird thing about toiletries, where I find it hard to justify spending more than a pound. Even though something like shampoo gets used everyday, and can actually have a big impact on how you feel for the whole day, somehow it feels like an ‘essential’ and so not something I’m allowed to spend money on.

The pressure was cranked up recently when I realised that Bramley had started selling room diffusers and candles too, with the same gorgeous essential oils. What I lack in the ‘spending money on shampoo’ department, I more than make up for in ‘spending money on scented candles’, because that’s for the house, not for me. So it doesn’t count obviously.

I finally could resist no longer at Christmas this year, and asked my mum to buy me the Bramley shampoo and conditioner as a present. It’s just as good as I remember it. My bathroom is now part way to looking as aspirational as that of my friend Anna.

Anna is older than me and her kids have long grown up and left home. She is however the most glamorous woman I know of any age and every time I visit her I am envious of the way she just sort of wafts around her home, which always smells like she has just cooked a delicious curry. When I go to the toilet, I gaze wistfully around her bathroom. I have never had a bathroom that is JUST MINE, and although I’m not saying I want to get rid of my family, I do wonder what it would be like to have just beautiful Bramley bottles on the side of your bath, and not a collection of about 14 different half empty oddments, rusty nit combs and old razor blades.

What I’m trying to say is that I WANT ANNA’S LIFE FOR YOU. I want you to have those shampoo bottles that people gaze wistfully at. Your bathroom CAN smell of geranium and sweet orange rather than damp towel. I want to make your toiletry dreams come true.

*I just checked and it was over TWO YEARS ago. Bonkers. Bramley sent me some of their products to try for the purposes of this post but all views are my own.
