How Should I Remodel My Townhouse Bathrooms?
questions Q: I am in the process of buying a 1960's, two-bedroom townhouse. The bedrooms are equal in size and share a Jack and Jill bathroom (upstairs). There is a powder room downstairs . The bathroom has a shared bath/shower combination in the middle with two doors, and each side has a sink/vanity and toilet. The bathroom is very small but I will steal space from a hallway closet for the remodel. I will split the bathrooms and want to have a separate walk-in shower and bathtub. I don't have space for two full baths, which would be ideal. My options appear to be: 1) Shower in the master, and the bathtub in the guest room; 2) Master with separate walk-in shower and bathtub, and a half bath in the guest room 3) Master with bath and shower, and a half bath in the hallway instead of the guest room 4) Full large bathroom with separate walk-in shower, bathtub, accessible by both bedrooms (two doors).
