French Cottage Bathroom Design Board

Image
I’m throwing together some products, design elements , and inspiration in preparation for our upcoming bathroom remodel .  Take a peek at my French Cottage Bathroom Design Board , and our not-so-lovely “before” images. This poor outdated bathroom has been waiting ever so patiently for its day to come. As ugly as it is, it’s by far the most used bathroom in our home.  While THIS OTHER BATHROOM is my happy place, the bathroom we are gearing up to remodel gets used by the 4 kids frequently, it’s the one our guests use, and truth be told – I prefer to use it to get ready in the morning so I keep my bathroom sparkly clean . Silly?   I know.   I call it “time management”. Let me show you what it looks like currently, which will then make it clear as day why it could use a bit of an update.  We haven’t changed a thing since move in day years ago. I know, right!? Even though it is a pretty small bathroom , I have big plans for it.  With a lot of elbow grease and DIY, some new items, and of co...

Master Bathroom – The Ugly Duckling House

Image
Master Bathroom – Before The old version of the bathroom (see listing photo below) left a lot to be desired. The wallpaper was worn and dated, and the linoleum on the floor was yellowed and ugly. Master Bathroom – Progress I did a quick makeover when first moving into the house, painting the floor and cabinet. But while I was in school, my dad decided to “help” me out by going ahead and ripping everything out! And unfortunately, due to a series of mishaps, the bathroom stayed stuck in limbo for years. I had a number of issues with installing new floor tile, having a valve spontaneously link , and more. Eventually, I nicknamed it my “bad luck bathroom” thinking it would never get done. But the real progress finally started when I found the perfect shower tile… worthy of a full-on bathroom upgrade ! Master Bathroom Makeover

Image
Master Bathroom Makeover on { lilluna.com } Great tips and ideas to help inspire your own creativity!!" width="703" height="1055" /> I’m SO excited to share with you guys the Master Bathroom Makeover we worked on this weekend. It’s actually been a project we have slooooowly been working since we moved in the house, but one we just finished on Saturday. Ever since we moved in, we’ve been going through each room and making it our own. I knew we’d get to the Master at some point (the Master bedroom still needs tons of work), but I’m happy to say that we at least have the Master Bathroom completed . I don’t have a picture of it from when we first moved in, but within the first year we at least painted the cabinets and add brushed nickel hardware . Since then we have done much more, and now I’m in LOVE with the Master Bathroom . Even the kids, who take baths in there, thought it looked so “pretty”. 😉 I agree!! Here’s the BEFORE shot we captured a few weeks ago...
